Armstrong entered sports activities at a young age, excelling in each swimming and biking, and by the time he was a teen he was competing in triathlons and swimming competitions. Right before his higher-university graduation the junior national crew from the U.S. Cycling Federation experienced recruited him. Armstrong competed in Moscow in the Juni
